The World Upside Down

Submitted by tyler.lewis on

MMHS photography classes experienced the history of the camera first-hand when their classroom was made into a large camera obscura. With all light into the room blocked off and a small hole in one window, the outside world was projected upside down onto the walls and ceiling of the classroom. Students were amazed to see the mountains, cars, and buildings in full color on the walls. The camera obscura was one of the inventions that led to the start of photography.
