Maple Mountain FFA Participates in Festival of Trees

Maple Mountain FFA helps Primary Children’s Medical Center by decorating a tree for the Festival of Trees.  A theme of “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” was chosen to not only help Primary Children’s, but to raise awareness for breast cancer.  To raise money for the tree, pink bracelets were sold at the school during lunch.  The tree was decked out head to toe in pink, using the pink ribbon theme.  Some decorations were made during an FFA activity and the FFA officers spent the day in Salt Lake decorating the tree.

The Festival of Trees is a fundraiser where people decorate trees of different sizes.  The public has the opportunity to bid and buy the trees that were decorated.  All of the money raised from the trees goes directly to Primary Children’s Medical Center.

Maple Mountain hopes that they were able to spread awareness for breast cancer through their pink campaign.
