On Saturday, September 4, our Maple Mountain cross country team competed at the BYU Autumn Classic invitation.  In the Frosh Girls race, Maple Mountain’s Rachel Warnick and Bridgette Harris placed first and second, respectively, with many other Golden Eagle runners placing in the top 30; including, Olivia Garrido, Brynn Heckel, Bria Heckel, and Jensen Williams.

All freshmen and sophomore Lady Golden Eagles received excellent personal times, pushed hard, and finished with a team score of 36.  This clenched a first-place “Frosh” win, ahead of teams such Davis (51), Orem (79), and Brighton (130).   These girls ran outstanding against some of the best teams in the state and came out on top.  Without a doubt, Golden Eagles can run, soar, and reach new heights.   Freshman-Sophomore team, way to be!
