Boys Soccer has significant win

It finally happened. The Maple Mountain Boys Soccer team won their first region game Tuesday, May 4. With a 2-1 win over Uintah high school, the varsity team came to the field with their hearts set on playing hard and their minds positioned on a win.   And that’s just what they did, they exploded strait from the kick off and played an amazing game of possession and team work. Riley Dinehart tallied a goal in each half and William Shelton was solid in the net, only giving up a PK late in the game, to lead the Golden Eagles to their first region win. With only two games left in the season, the soccer team looks promising. From goalie to forwards this team is pulling all their skills and talents together and is walking away this season knowing they didn’t get shut out.
