Golden Eagle Interns at Elementary School

Senior Brooke Bishop interned at Spanish Oaks Elementary as a second grade student teacher. Brooke assisted the teacher and taught an art project once a week. Brooke said she is still very interested in this line of work after the internship. Brooke said that one of the funniest experiences she had during the internship was when she had to test all the children and they were excited to test.   Brooke recommends internships to people so that they can have a good sample run to see if they like the career they are pursuing. She plans on attending SUU and going into elementary ed. Brooke Bishop says, “I love to work with little kids, and I’ve just always thought teaching would be fun.”
