Maple Mountain music students have prepared for the better part of the school year for their individual and small ensemble performances at the Region 8 Solo and Ensemble Festival, sponsored by the Utah High School Activities Association. For the most part, students worked independently on this project, anywhere from selecting their repertoire, to practicing in and outside of class time in order to deliver superior performances. Each student listed here performed for an adjudicator, and earned superior ratings, qualifying for a second performance at the State Festival, which will be held on Saturday, April 24, at Lone Peak High School. We are so pleased with these students—each has gone above and beyond, all the while maintaining excellence in their other coursework and activities!
