DECA Students Participate in State Competition

On Thursday, February 25, and Friday, February 26, four students from Maple Mountain High competed at Utah DECA state competition. In addition, Chapter President, Jessika Hilton, campaigned for Utah DECA State President and was ultimately elected as Utah DECA State Executive Vice-President and officer.
  Allison Fernandez and Dallan Brindley participated as a team in the Hospitality Services Team Decision Making Event. Spenser Slease participated in the individual event Quick Serve Restaurant Management, and Jessika Hilton won 1st place in Restaurant and Food Service Management. Hilton will represent MapleMountain at the National DECA Competition this May in Louisville, Kentucky.   MapleMountain is a new DECA chapter. DECA is an international association of high school and college students studying marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality and marketing sales and service.   Picture Caption --
