Meet Darrell Wyatt

If it’s Health, Psychology, or AP Psychology, Mr. Darrell Wyatt covers them all! Darrell Wyatt is a fabulous social science teacher and committed cross country coach at our new Maple Mountain High School. Darrell has a beautiful wife, Camille, and a son, K.J. The most unusual job he ever had was working at Pretzeltime for four hours. He quit due to sheer boredom—Maple Mountain is anything but that! When asked what the hardest part of being a cross country coach is, he said, “It’s keeping the students motivated to attain their goals.” Mr. Wyatt wanted to be the cross country coach because he exclaims, “It’s a blast!” He also went on to say all of his cross country team members are good students; and, the greatest reward is to see someone applying healthy skills they’ll use for the rest of their lives. When asked how he likes teaching, he said, “It’s best when he’s able to be a person first and a coach or teacher second. Mr. Wyatt is continually learning as well by attending workshops and college classes. Maple Mountain is fortunate to have Mr. Wyatt as a valuable member of our faculty!
