Kathryn Crandall was awarded the UACTE Teacher of the Year from the Work-based Learning division at the UACTE Conference held in St. George, Utah. Kathryn was recognized for her efforts as a FACS teacher, the CTE Department head, and outstanding educator and supporter for Work-based Learning internships. Mrs. Crandall has been teaching for 23 years and has been at Maple Mountain since 2009, when we first opened our doors. Among her many achievements, she created and supervises the MMHS Eaglet Preschool, has presented at summer conferences for state FACS teachers, assists sewing classes in making projects for Primary Children's Hospital, and works tirelessly to serve the students at Maple Mountain. She was presented the award by Robyn Dunn, a member of the state Work-based Learning board and our school's Internship Coordinator.
