Gracie Keisel has been selected as a Maple Mountain High School "Prep Athlete of the Week for her outstanding play as a member of the volleyball team. Gracie is an outside hitter who has close to 180 kills and 25 aces along with 11 blocks. Gracie's team is sitting at 15-2 along with an undefeated record in region play with one game left. Gracie is a great leader and teammate. Her hard work, enthusiasm, and example rubs off on all of the players in the Maple Mountain program. Gracie also plans on participating on the track and field team
Nixan Jackson has been selected as a Maple Mountain High School student athlete "Prep Athlete of the Week" for her outstanding play as a member of the girls soccer team. Nixan has 17 goals on the season and 6 assists in helping her team to a top ranking in the state as they head into the state 5A playoffs.

This is a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate our “Attitude of Excellence.” Thank you for your interest in representing our school. Sterling Scholar candidates are evaluated on the following criteria: Scholarship, Category Expertise, Leadership, Community Service/Citizenship, and Interview. Each area is weighted 20%.
