On Saturday, October 12th, the MMHS Marching Band competed in the Wasatch Front Invitational Marching Band Competition at Herriman High School. The band performed very well, and they put out their best performance yet. The Band was awarded Outstanding Visual Performance, Outstanding Music, and they placed 1st in the 5A Scholastic Division. Way to go!!

The Maple Mountain Dance Company will be holding a dance clinic for boys and girls ages 4-11 on October 21-24. It is in the MMHS dance room from 4-5 pm each of those days. Registration costs $25 and includes a clinic t-shirt.
After the clinic, go to the fall concert on Octobe 24 at 7 pm in the MMHS auditorium for the performances!
In this presentation Christy Kane talks about the difficulties teens face in today’s complex social media world as they sort through the journey of progress versus perfection. Come learn key solutions to help teens navigate life in progress. It will be held at MMHS November 4th at 7pm.
On Saturday, September 28th, the MMHS Marching Band competed in the Nebo Tournament of Bands Marching Competition at Payson High School. The band soared in their performance, and many judges and spectators were very complimentary of our show. The Band was awarded Outstanding Visual Performance, Outstanding Percussion, and they placed 1st out of 11 bands in the 5A Scholastic Division. Way to go!
Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
In 5 years, I hope to be a returned missionary for my church, and to be studying environmental biology at Brigham Young University. This world is so beautiful, and I want to do all that I can to keep it that way.
