Korban Tibbals has been selected as this week's, "Prep of the Week" for his outstanding performance on the wrestling mat and in the classroom. Korban recently won the Uintah Invitational Tournament and has been successful in winning all of his region matches so far. Korban is a returning state placer who is expected to do very well in his upcoming state meets. Congratulations, Korban!

Rocky Mountain Drill Team Invitational Competition

The MMHS Ellevés competed at the Rocky Mountain Drill Team Invitational Competition at Corner Canyon High School on January 9, 2016. They placed 1st in Pom, 2nd in Hip Hop, 2nd in Military, 2nd in Dance, and 2nd in Character. The Ellevés also received a judges choice award for best technique in their dance routine.

MMHS Ellevés Compete at Excalibur Classic

The MMHS Ellevés competed at The Excalibur Classic, held at Copper Hills High School on Saturday, December 19. The Ellevés competed in the Hip Hop, Pom, Military, and Dance categories. There were seven schools competing in the 4A division.

The Ellevés won 2nd place in the Hip Hop category, 2nd place in the Pom category, 3rd place in the Military category, and 3rd place in the Dance category. 

In the drill down competition, Emily Kessinger won 2nd place and Jessie Abbott won 3rd place in the 4A drill down.

Preps of the Week

Madi Ellis, daughter of Christie Ellis and Thad Ellis, Makenna Ellis, daughter of Christie Ellis and Thad Ellis, and Emily Kessinger, daughter of Bryan and Jana Kessinger have been chosen as “Prep of the Week.” They recently represented Maple Mountain at the 4A All-State Drill Team Auditions and all three girls made the team. There were over 50 girls who auditioned for 20 spots on the all-state team.
