Our jazz band participated at the State Jazz Festival on Friday, March 25th, receiving very high ratings from all 4 judges, including 3 superior ratings ("I," "I-,""II," and also a "I" from the sightreading judge). We also had two students receive "Outstanding Soloist" citations: Anton Kadomtsev & Chris Wyllie. Congrats to our jazz band students, as these are the highest ratings that MMHS has ever received at the state level.
