Nebo FCCLA Success at National Conference

In July, Nebo School District was well represented at the National Leadership Conference  for FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America). Twelve students, from four high schools traveled to San Diego, CA. where they were able to compete in STAR Event competitions, raise awareness and advocate for Family & Consumer Sciences Education, see all of the great city sites, and network with over 8,000 FCCLA members from across the country.

MMHS Jr. Cheer Clinic

The MMHS Jr. Cheer camp is this week. Come learn cheers, chants, and a dance from Maple Mountain’s Cheerleaders! They will perform at Maroon and Gold Varsity Football game this Friday. The half-time performance for families will be at half-time on August 12th 7:00 PM at MMHS. Each girl will receive a t-shirt and bow on the day of the performance.

Welding Placed 3rd at Nationals

The MMHS team of junior welding fabricators took 3rd place in the nation at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference. Each state brought their best welding team to compete. Our team consisted of Tosh Davis, Tyler Christmas, and Ben Warnick. They built a tool box from scratch in 6.5 hours.
