Ellevés Win Sweepstakes at First Competition
The MMHS Ellevés competed in their first competition of the season, The Wasatch Drill Invitational Competition, at Wasatch High School on Saturday, December 10. The Ellevés competed in the Pom, Hip Hop, Military, Dance, and Kick categories.
The Ellevés won 1st place in the Pom category, 1st place in the Hip Hop category, 1st place in the Military category, 1st place in the Kick category, and 2nd place in the Dance category. The Ellevés also won the 4A High Point award and the Invitational Sweepstakes award. The team was very excited and pleased with their success!

Where do you want to see yourself in five years? Five years older. Back from my mission and heading to a college.
What are your favorite hobbies? The ones I'm good at. Soccer, language learning, and computer programming.
If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and what would you ask them? Steve Jobs. I would ask him for advise on business and technology, to help me create things that could help people.
MMHS Awarded UIAAA Directors Cup
Maple Mountain was awarded the UIAAA Directors Cup on Tuesday, November 22.
The UIAAA Directors Cup is awarded each year to the top school in each class that demonstrates combined excellence in athletic, academic, and sportsmanship & student-leadership. Each category makes up a percentage toward a school’s total ranking:
1. Athletic (40%): The place or position a school team finishes in the state tournament.
2. Academic (40%): Varsity team GPA.
