SkyWest pilot speaks to students at Maple Mountain High

Katie Park, Springville High School class of 1997, spoke to students this week about career opportunities in aviation.   As a pilot for SkyWest Airlines, Park shared some of her unique experiences, including being struck by lightning on multiple occasions and dealing with unruly passengers.

Park was invited to speak as part of the “Window on the Workplace” monthly lecture series sponsored by Maple Mountain High’s Internship Program.   “Window on the Workplace” focuses on inviting professionals from various careers into the school to speak to students about future job opportunities.
