The team had a great time at the national science olympiad competition at Wright State University the weekend before school got out. This is the third year that our team has competed at nationals, and it was one of our best yet.

Here are our best individual results:
5th in Electric Wright Stuff (airplane) - Adam Syndergaard and Madyson Meeks and Lauren von Bose
16th in Rocks and Minerals - Delaney Rose and Julie Carlson
17th in Write it Do it - Joseph DelaCruz and Joshua Green
21st in Optics - Gideon Hale and Philip Richey
25th in Towers - Bruce Gill and Heidyn von Bose
28th in Robot Arm - Heidyn von Bose and Joshua Green

As a team we improved over last year by 10 places. We took 44th overall out of 60 teams. Since Science Olympiad is a relatively small program in Utah, we are very happy with these results.

Thank you for all you've done this year to support the team and these amazing students.  Have a great summer!
