Jace Edmunds--MMHS Prep of the Week

This week’s Maple Mountain High Prep of the Week is Varsity football star, Jace Edmunds.  Whether it’s his passing, rushing, receiving, or defense, you are sure to hear Jace’s name announced during the game and read about him in the newspaper.

Edmunds primarily plays defensive back for the Golden Eagles Varsity football team.  This year has been the best for him adding up 44 tackles averaging 3.7 per game and four defensive interceptions.  Edmunds has been playing football since birth.   Edmunds says, “He likes to play football because it’s fun.  His favorite football player is Charles Woodson.

His prediction for next year is a big improvement for Maple Mountain, to place at least 2nd in region; a tough feat, but the young Golden Eagles football team is more than capable of that.
