On April 28, the Maple Mountain FFA held their 2nd annual chapter banquet to celebrate the success of the chapter and to help recognize not only students, but those individuals who played a role in getting their chapter rolling. During the banquet students were awarded with their Greenhand or Chapter Degree, individuals who made a difference were thanked, and the 2011- 2012 Maple Mountain FFA officer team was installed.  For the 2011-2012 the Maple Mountain FFA will be led by some very qualified young individuals.

Daniel Jensen will be leading the chapter to success by serving as President. As Vice-President, Derek Tidwell will be assisting the President in maintaining order. Taylor Johnson will be carrying on the chapter correspondence by serving as Secretary. As Treasurer, Shania Steele will be expected to develop a chapter budget and maintain sound financial practices. Mikayla Nusink was elected to serve as Reporter which will require her to inform the public about the on goings in FFA.  The job of Sentinel is to welcome friends and care for the meeting room, no one is as cut out for the job as Austin Seamons.  As Historian, Ashlynn Johnson is in charge of compiling a chapter scrapbook.

Next year’s committee chairman are Ciara Moosman who is a student which focuses on helping each individual to succeed,  Jon Davies wants to focus on a community which focuses on helping the community learn about agriculture and community service, and Decker Nielsen would like to see focus on helping our chapter succeed and move forward.
