Makenzie Beardall , senior at Maple Mountain High School, has been interning at Barbara’s Daycare. At the daycare Makenzie has several important duties she performs like feeding the children, playing with them, reading stories to them, and changing their diapers. She enjoys everyday of this learning experience.
Makenzie is interested in this line of work because she loves children and has taken several child care classes in high school. She enjoys this field of work. She hopes to enroll at Weber State University next fall.
This internship has been beneficial to Makenzie because she has been able to learn a lot more about children and how they act that you normally would learn in a classroom setting.
