Megan Wasden
What is your favorite quote and why?
“What are you going to do today to be better tomorrow?” – My volleyball coach. This is my favorite quote because it is applicable to all areas of life and inspires me to improve myself by doing the daily things that count.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
I hope to be surviving college, have my driver’s license, and have successfully run a marathon.

What are your favorite hobbies?
I like to run, hike, be outdoors, bake, and play volleyball. I also enjoy choir and hanging out with friends.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
I once walked into two door handles within a half hour period. I didn’t find it very funny then.

What makes you different from everyone else?
I have two moles that easily form a smiley face.

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and why?
I would want to talk to Florence Nightingale and ask about her experiences because she is my hero.

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
I enjoy math, because I like how I am either right or wrong.

Zac Thorn
What is your favorite quote and why?
“You are only given a little spark of madness, you mustn’t lose it.” - Robin Williams. I like this because it reminds me to stay true to me. It also reminds me that we all have that spark inside us, so I try to ignite everyone’s that I see. 

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
At BYU studying theatrical arts, or anything the deals with performing. 

What are your favorite hobbies?
Theatre. That is it except for Netflix. Netflix is bae. 

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
One time in Chemistry I stood upon my desk and discoed for 25 minutes straight. 

What makes you different from everyone else?
I love to be myself. I try to never put on an act for anyone. I’ve found it’s easier to keep sane this way. 

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and why?
I would talk with Randy Pausch, and ask him what kept him going throughout his whole life? 

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
I like drama, because I love acting, having fun, and being myself. 

Maia Blair
What is your favorite quote and why?
“See the light in others, and treat them as if that is all you see.” - Dr. Wayne Dyer. I like this quote because of its profoundness. It is good to show kindness even when it might be difficult to. 

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
Going to college to study to be an animator. Also, preparing to go on an LDS mission. 

What are your favorite hobbies?
I enjoy drawing cartoons, reading, playing video games, being with my friends and family, and playing the violin. 

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
When I was 3, I got stuck in the mop bucket while my mom was mopping. 

What makes you different from everyone else?
I really like to draw cartoon characters from shows I enjoy watching. 

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and why?
I would be very interested in talking to one of my ancestors. I would ask them about their life story and how they succeeded in their life. 

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
I really enjoy German and Orchestra, because they are both very interesting to learn about. 

Cody Andersen
What is your favorite quote and why?
“Git-r-dun!” - Larry the Cable Guy. 

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
I want to either be the CEO of a major company or an MMA fighter. 

What are your favorite hobbies?
I enjoy anything outdoors, shooting, hiking, biking, and wheeling.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
I achieved student of the month and no on knows how! 

What makes you different from everyone else?
My ingenuity. 

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and why?
Henry Ford. I would have too many questions to pick just one. 

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
Welding. It has the most real life applications. 

Abigail Oliver
What is your favorite quote and why?
“You is kind, you is smart, you is important.” - The Help. I love this quote because it applies to everyone. We all have unlimited potential and can do more good than we know. 

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
In five years I hope to be attending college, after having served an LDS mission, and working as a child life specialist. Oh, and maybe married to a cute boy, too. 

What are your favorite hobbies?
I love to read, play the piano, sew, and knit. I teach piano to several students and tutor a third grader a few times a week.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
Getting locked out of my aunt’s car when I drove it to the grocery store. I had to climb in through the trunk and got some pretty strange looks. 

What makes you different from everyone else?
I am a very hard worker, and very dedicated. When I set my mind to something, I will do whatever is required to make it happen. I know how to value hard work and sacrifice, and give everything I do 110%. 

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and why?
I would love to meet Anne Frank. She had immense strength and courage, and was always very positive. She showed the world what small, ordinary acts of kindness can do. I would ask her advice on how to change the world for good. 

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
I love history! History has always fascinated me; I love learning about people from different times and places. I truly believe that history repeats itself, and that by looking back at the past, we can understand more about ourselves.

Tristen Call
What is your favorite quote and why?
“If you were waiting for the opportune moment, that was it.” - Johnny Depp/Jack Sparrow. I like that quote since we need to keep our eyes open in this life. 

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
In college, still trying to figure out life. 

What are your favorite hobbies?
Reading, playing video games, and off-roading. 

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
My car once died in the middle of an intersection in pouring rain, and I couldn’t get my hazard light to turn on. 

What makes you different from everyone else?
My perspective. 

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and why?
I would talk with Houdini, and I’d ask him where he learned to disappear.

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
Anything except for math.
