FBLA students do well at state competition

On Thursday, March 31, and Friday, April 1, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) students from Maple Mountain and Springville High schools traveled together to Utah state competition.

The following students placed in state in their respective events:  Bradley Borget and Mitch Ohman, 10th place, Banking and Financial Systems; Dexter Eppley and Mykal Johnson, 10th place, Global Business; Dexter Eppley, 1st Place, Help Desk; Dexter Eppley, Mykal Johnson and Timothy Elliott, 7th Place, Management Information Systems; Dexter Eppley, 7th Place, Computer Problem Solving; Dexter Eppley and Mykal Johnson, 10th Place, Management Decision Making; McKayla Montierth, 9th place, Public Speaking; Tyler Clement, 7th Place, Web Page Design.

The following students participated in state competition:  Bradley Borget, Mitch Ohman, Dexter Eppley, Mykal Johnson, Timothy Elliott, Olivia Garrido, Shannon Smith, Ashley Knowles, Nick H. Taylor, Zach Haycock, Tyler Clement, Kaylie Chen, Elisa Lou, Shirley Lou, Bria Heckel, Kierra Larsen, Shalyn Green and McKayla Montierth.

Dexter Eppley has qualified to attend FBLA national competition in the Help Desk event this June in Orlando, Florida.
