Congratulations to our FBLA club on their success at the Central Region Competition December 12th. It was an exceptional group effort that placed MMHS 4th overall while competing against 23 schools! They had the largest competing Chapter from Region 8 in attendance, and all students represented our school in the finest of fashions. Out of the 18 students competing, 12 placed. Listed below are the individuals/teams that placed in the top 5 of their specific competitions:

Individual Events
Robert Nay- 1st place in Cyber Security, Computer Apps, Tech Concepts, and Help Desk!
Thomas Heinz- 1st place in Business Communication
Rebekkah Hart- 3rd place in Business Procedures and 5th place in Personal Finance
Becca Bair- 4th place in Business Procedures and 4th place Client Service
Ben Foutz- 4th place in Accounting I and 5th place in Business Math 

Team Events
Parliamentary Procedure: Kati Branch, Becca Bair, Rebekkah Hart, and Robert Nay- 3rd place
Management Decision Making: Kati Branch and James Warren- 4th place
Management Information Systems: Diana Lopez, Yuliana Lopez, and Katie Mendoza- 5th place
Global Business: Hannah Cook, Megan Larsen, and Ben Foutz- 5th place

Many other students competed well at Regionals and worked very hard. The FBLA club is planning on building off of their success at regionals and beginning their preparations now for state, which is held in March. Great job MMHS FBLA and good luck at State!
