On Friday, October 14th, the MMHS Choirs combined with the choirs of Mapleton Junior High for their annual Fall Choral Showcase. The auditorium at Maple Mountain was filled beyond capacity, and the choirs were excellent as they demonstrated mastery of vocal and choral technique, coupled with artistic, soulful energy. The choirs were fortunate to perform two "choral union" numbers, where all singers joined together in singing. Truly, the auditorium was filled with energy and fantastic music. Conductors, Mrs. Thompson from MJHS and Mr. Mendenhall from MMHS were thrilled with all of the efforts of each student and for the gracious audience.
Join the MMHS Choirs and the Mapleton Chorale for the 3rd Annual, Carols and Confections Christmas Concert on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 7:00pm. Tickets are $10 each, and may be purchased at the MMHS Finance Office, or through any MMHS Choral Singer.
