Ryan Hawkins
What is your favorite quote, and why?
“You can't believe everything you read on the internet.” -Abraham Lincoln. It’s true, also hilarious.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
The Utah usual; home from a mission, in college, maybe married, doing good in the world.

What are your favorite hobbies?
I like watching/playing soccer, playing video games, and science.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
My family and my life.

What makes you different from everyone else?
My desire to go above and beyond.

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and what would you ask them?
I would talk to Martin Luther King Jr. and ask him where his strength to overcome adversity comes from.

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
I like physics because you get to learn about the fundamental aspects of the universe.

Ashley Chidester
What is your favorite quote, and why?
My favorite quote is “come what may and love it” by Joseph B. Wirthlin. I love this quote because it is a constant reminder that though hard times will come, we need to be ready and have a positive attitude about it. Life is great and everyone has so much to offer.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
I hope to see myself as a returned missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, hopefully completing my bachelor's degree, or working on my masters. I don't quite know what my future career will be, but I hope to someday be a wife and a mom! I hope that in five years I will have had a positive impact on my community and changed the world somehow!

What are your favorite hobbies?
My favorite hobbies include hula dancing, eating sushi or anything chocolate, student council, FCCLA, shopping, taking naps, and talking to people.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
The funniest thing that has ever happened to me would have to be a few years ago when I sat on a chocolate cupcake, and it left frosting on me. I walked around the mall with my friends for a few hours and no one told me! It was really embarrassing but funny when I found out.

What makes you different from everyone else?
I can do a pretty great indian accent! I'm really good at dinosaur noises, and I have a deep love for Pugs! I also have a love for people, and I love making others feel good about themselves. It’s amazing what people can do when they know how great they are.

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and what would you ask them?
Joan of Arc. I would ask her how she found her courage and kept her faith in such hard times. I would tell her how much I admire her faith and dedication.

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
I love family and consumer science classes! They teach super important (and fun) skills that we will use for the rest of our lives, and they help us with daily life! FACS classes are the best! I also love history because we can learn so much from it to improve the future!

Shelby Brown
What is your favorite quote, and why?
There's not much of a difference between a stadium full of cheering fans and an angry crowd screaming abuse at you. They're both just making a lot of noise. How you take it is up to you. -Sue Sylvester

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
Five years older.

What are your favorite hobbies?
Swimming and piano.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
Actually it's really not funny at all and I still have nightmares about it, but a kangaroo tried to kill me. It had my entire arm in its mouth, and it was trying to drag me to into its cage. I was screaming, and it bit a hole in my jacket.

What makes you different from everyone else?
I love dogs more than anything else I know of.

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and what would you ask them?
I would talk to Hitler and tell him not to invade Czechoslovakia because he promised.

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
Interior design or peer tutor. They are really fun, and I like my teacher and the people in my classes.

Hailey Hill
What is your favorite quote, and why?
“You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view - until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.” -Harper Lee. It gives a great perspective to not judge others and think of how life is treating them instead. I makes a person more caring and understanding.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
I want to be in college, studying medicine. I want to be helping others and continue in serving others.

What are your favorite hobbies?
I love photography and art. I also love reading and music.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
This.

What makes you different from everyone else?
I am a very self motivated person and use that to keep up with my busy life.

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and what would you ask them?
I would talk to Queen Elizabeth. I would ask her about being such a powerful leader who so many people admire, and ask, “what it is like to be the first queen to rule without marriage.”

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
My favorite subject in school is history. I love learning about historical events and different cultures histories.

Gavin Bartholomew
What is your favorite quote, and why?
“No one else is dealing with your demons meaning maybe defeating them, could be the beginning of your meaning friend.” -Twenty One Pilots. I like it because it's basically telling you how to find happiness, and of course, I love Twenty One Pilots.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
I want to see myself going to a nice college out of state, having fun, and going on adventures.

What are your favorite hobbies?
I love longboarding and taking cool pictures. My longboard is like a part of me. I also play the piano and paint.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
Once at a jr. high dance, I kicked my shoe, and it went flying across the room and hit someone. I still don't have that shoe.

What makes you different from everyone else?
I'm on the swim team, and I still manage to get good grades, enough sleep, and a social life.

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and what would you ask them?
I would want to talk to Edgar Allen Poe and just have an interesting conversation.

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
I like science because it is really interesting and can be applied to real world stuff.

David Chappell
What is your favorite quote, and why?
“Lions don't lose sleep over the opinions of sheep.” I like how it is saying you shouldn't care about other people's’ opinions of you.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
I see myself in college hopefully close to graduating.

What are your favorite hobbies?
Playing basketball, watching sports, hanging with friends, sleeping, eating.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
One time I was wrestling with this kid and my pants tore in half.

What makes you different from everyone else?
I have 12 siblings, and I also have a trademark necklace I am wearing.

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and what would you ask them?
Abraham Lincoln, I would ask him what was it like leading his country through such a difficult time and how he did it.

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
My favorite class is retailing because it is a fun class and there are only nine kids in there. We get to do lots of things that a bigger class couldn't.
