NEBO SCHOOL DISTRICT TO DISMISS SCHOOLS
As directed by the State of Utah, all public schools in Utah will dismiss beginning Monday, March 16, 2020, for two weeks in response to COVID-19. This is a proactive measure.

Congratulations to Principal DeAnn Nielsen at Maple Mountain High, in Nebo School District, for earning the Nebo #Hashtag Award. This award is given to the person that communicates to their parents and students, in a variety of ways, the events and important news items happening at school. Principal Nielsen has posted over 1,300 Instagram posts since she has been the principal. She also has 1,000s of individuals following her on social media to get the latest news from the school. Andrew Jensen has been selected as a Maple Mountain "Prep of the Week" for his outstanding season as a member of the wrestling team. Andrew recently capped of his sophomore year by winning the Utah State wrestling title in the 170lb category. Andew is also an outstanding member of the football team. Congratulations Andrew!
Come to the 11th annual MMDS Showcase featuring the MMHS Dance Company and guest performers! It is March 6 at 7 PM in the MMHS auditorium. General admission tickets cost $5, students are $3, and a family pass is $20.
Tuckler Back has been selected as one of this week's "Prep of the Week" in boys swimming. Tucker has been a member of the swim team for the past two years. He was a team captain this past season. Tucker recently received the UHSAA Academic All State Award. Tucker's favorite swim is the butterfly, and he broke the school record in the 100m butterfly this year. Congratulations Tucker!
