At-Home Learning Tips & Expectations

As we transition into the “Alternating Day Schedule,” students will have learning expectations for the three days where they are not at school. To keep on schedule with learning, we have outlined some tips to help.

Set an at-home schedule (For all Wednesdays and the other two days at home)

    • Get up at a reasonable time in the morning
    • Get ready like normal
    • Set up a place at home away from distractions
    • Block out at least 5 hours of time
    • Take breaks along the way

Check Canvas every day (Follow your normal class schedule)

    • Watch ALL the videos
    • Read ALL the instructions
    • Complete ALL the assignments
    • DON’T GET BEHIND

Attend your teachers’ office hours (PLEASE USE IT)

    • Ask questions
    • Receive additional instruction
    • Give feedback to your teachers on how at-home learning is going

Order FREE School Lunch/Breakfast - MMHS Remote Learners

Submitted by shea.bradshaw on Wed, 09/30/2020 - 08:35

School breakfast and lunch is FREE for all Nebo School District students during the 2020-2021 school year on scheduled school days. MMHS students who are at school must simply go to the cafeteria for the free meals.

MMHS students who are not at school on a particular day, must order meals. To order school lunch and/or breakfast, fill out the following survey each day for each student.  Orders must be made before 9 a.m. each morning. Meals are only provided on scheduled school days (including on Wednesdays when MMHS is on the alternating schedule) and can be picked up in the front office between 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, is part of Thanksgiving break, is not a scheduled school day, and no meals will be served.
