Maple Mountain FFA participated in Primary Children’s Annual Festival of Trees with great success. FFA’s tree theme was, "All things beautiful,” focusing on the many beautiful and productive animals found in agriculture. Of course there had to be tractors at the bottom, barb wire around the outside topped off with a nice Red Barn. The donated tree sold for $500; all proceeds were donated to Primary Children’s Hospital.
On December 16, the Maple Mountain choirs combined with the Mapleton Chorale, all under the direction of Cory Mendenhall, to perform the 1st Annual Carols & Confections Concert. The evening began with patrons enjoying delightful desserts while listening to music from all the featured artists and choirs.
The MMHS trip to Washington D.C was a trip to remember. Thirty-eight of our students attended this eventful trip that started December 1 and returned to Utah on December 6. Spencer Rose, Hayley Roney, and Brianna Cook of our very own MMHS had the honor to present a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in which the changing of the guard happens every hour.
