We're kind of excited over here in science land. These kids pulled it off again and won state for the third year in a row. Some of them left before the awards ceremony because of prom, so not everyone from the team is in the picture, but if you get a chance, let these kids know how awesome they are - they've really worked hard this year. Nationals is next month in Ohio, May 19-20.
Our welding seniors crushed it at the welding competition in Logan yesterday. There were over 100 students from all over the state, even from Idaho and Wyoming.
All 5 of our students placed in the top 20.
Tosh Davis - 17th
McCade Lee -11th (missed 10th by 1 point)
Jace Baird - 8th
Tyler Christmas - 4th
Ben Warnick - 2nd
Congratulate these students when you see them. They represented our school and district very well. At the awards ceremony they only announced the top 10, and we were the only school to have 3 students announced.

Congratulations to the Maple Mountain Dance Company for their amazing performance at the Dance Company Festival and Adjudication this year. Addie Black, Lynnae Randall, and Kimber Higginbotham received Superior scores for their choreography. Addie Black's piece also won the "judges choice" award. Shaelynn Duncan and Muriel Langdon's choreography have both been chosen to represent MMHS at the Utah State Dance Competition in April. Way to go MMDC!
