Submitted by tyler.lewis on

Joshua Spackman takes a Business Management class as a concurrent enrollment student though UVU.  As part of this class, students are required to write a business plan. Students can enter a competition by submitting a business plan for a $500 cash prize. If they win our school competition, they qualify to compete at UVU against students from other schools for a $1000 cash prize. Joshua Spackman and other students submitted business plans and interviewed like the "Shark Tank" TV show.  Joshua won the $500 and will be competing at UVU for the $1000 prize.

Submitted by tyler.lewis on

Congratulations to Rebekkah Hart, Duncan Beutler, and Thomas Heinz for winning the Business Ethics Competition hosted by BYU’s Accounting Program, in the Marriot School of Management on March 29th. Against 9 other schools, they were given one hour to examine a real ethics dilemma, decide on a position, prepare a presentation, and then give their presentation to a panel of judges which consisted of students and professors.
