Hobbies/Interests

     In the winter, I love skiing at The Canyons and seeing my students there with their snowboards.  I love Japanese food and my favorite restaurant is Osaka in Provo.  My current favorite author is James Michener and his writings on the history of geographical regions such as Alaska.   In the summer, I enjoy working in our vegetable garden and orchard, and getting great gardening advice from students’ parents.    I particularly enjoy Utah summertime rain and sitting with my husband out on the kitchen porch watching a rainstorm.
